What is Adventure Boot Camp for Women?

A four-week indoor/outdoor program of fitness instruction and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Certified Adventure Boot Camp Coaches, Directors, and Owners, Katie Maclaskey and Chelsea Amato.  

What if I'm not very physically fit?

NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

What if I am recovering or have had previous injuries?

While we are accepting of all fitness levels, if you have had previous injuries that limit you from participating in specific exercises, we require a brief consultation over the phone to learn more about your current condition and to be sure that our program is the right fit for you. This is very important to do before your first day of class so you (as the client) and us (as your trainers) are prepared to make sure your experience is the best it can be.

Where is the location we will meet?

For the months of October through May camps will be held inside. Our indoor location for the Lake Oswego Camp is New Thought Spirit for Spiritual Living - 1040 C Ave, Lake Oswego 97034. Our indoor location for Happy Valley is Extreme Products at 12310 SE Hwy 212, Clackamas 97015. Camp is held outdoors for the months of June through September. Our outdoor location for Lake Oswego is Foothills Park in Lake Oswego. Our outdoor location for Happy Valley is at Happy Valley Park, 13770 SE Ridgecrest Rd., Happy Valley 97086. What types of exercises are included in the program? 

Exercises include: Core conditioning, short distance running (less than one mile), muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, games, functional training, sport yoga, daily stretching, pilates, sport drills, obstacle courses, surprises, and more!

How often will we meet?

Participants will meet 2 to 4 days a week, Monday through Friday, for one hour during the four-week program.  All participants will be expected to arrive on time. Choose a 2, 3, or 4 day option for either camp. See calendar for detail of each camp time and location.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring an exercise mat, small hand weights (3, 5, or 8 lbs.), water bottle, running shoes, and a sense of adventure. You can purchase these items at any sporting goods store, Target, Fred Meyer, or Marshalls. 

What can I achieve from camp?

Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence by making a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The camp program includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you'll speed up your metabolism and lose inches and gain strength while looking and feeling better. Also, you'll meet other great women who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body. You'll receive FREE pre & post assessments & food intake analysis. The BONUS is building new friendships and support from amazing women with similar goals!

Why should I participate?

Because if you put minimal effort into your life, you will get back minimal results! You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical, mental and emotional well-being. And you will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started!

What is the cost (investment in myself)?

Each four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $149 - 2 day/week, $199 - 3 day/week and $249 - Unlimited. We also offer a 3 or 6 month membership to make boot camp even more affordable and hold you accountable. Where else can you get these kind of results in such a short amount of time? Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price? Personal trainers can typically charge $60 to $150 per hour for their services - this is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by NFPT and ACE-Cerified Personal Trainers and NESTA, Adventure Boot Camp Trainers for just a fraction of the cost.

*The Adventure Boot Camp Program is designed to be done 3 days per week. The 3-day per week program is especially good for those who are beginners, are working with injuries or who want to compliment boot camp with other activities. 

What you can expect:

  1. One hour a day, 2-4 days a week, for 4 weeks
  2. 5:30AM - 6:30AM, 7AM - 8AM, 8:15AM - 9:15AM
  3. Pre/Post Strength and Endurance Evaluations
  4. Nutritional Guidance
  5. Encouragement from other ladies in the group

What Adventure Boot Camp is NOT:

Lake Oswego & Happy Valley Adventure Boot Camp is NOT a militaristic style camp where you will be humiliated or an overly competitive environment where you will be pushed beyond your abilities. Once again, this is a friendly, fun environment where everyone works to the best of their ability. You have everything to gain by joining. Don't let any false fears hold you back.
